The Buffalo Model Questionnaire-Revised (BMQ-R) is a useful tool for those working with individuals with (central) auditory processing issues. The questionnaire is composed of frequently exhibited behaviors of those identified with (C)APD and can be used to identify those in need of a diagnostic evaluation, can provide a profile of the difficulties exhibited by the individual, can validate diagnostic test results and can serve as a means of tracking therapeutic progress. The tool also includes questions about therapies that could affect the BMQ-R as well as (C)APD diagnostic test results. The BMQ-R is easy to complete and score. The manual will describe the questionnaire, the instructions to the person completing the form, the scoring procedures and the interpretations.
