Volunteer Hub

The Board of Directors consists of seven elected or appointed positions along with two nonvoting positions. The BoD provides governance, strategic direction, and oversight for the organization that meets the mission and values of EAA. Roles and responsibilities include setting board policies, developing strategic plans, advocating for our profession, and overseeing committees, task forces, and working groups.

Each VP position on the BoD has its own committee. The projects and content worked on are geared towards that area. Some committees may work together on specific projects depending on the content and purpose.

State & International Representatives (Reps) play a key role in connecting members with EAA leadership and supporting our mission. Reps are encouraged to attend at least four meetings a year, stay active in EAA, and help spread the word about our goals, events, and resources. Whether sharing EAA materials at state conferences or proposing new ideas for the Board, Reps make an impact. The position offers the chance to develop leadership skills and collaborate on exciting projects. Serve for a year with the option to continue, or pass the torch to someone new.
